Assistant Vice President – BPP Investor Reporting, Blackstone Perpetual Finance Open-Ended Funds

Overview:

The BPP Investor Reporting team, part of Global Perpetual Finance, is dedicated to delivering accurate, timely, and high-quality reporting to investors in our BPP investment vehicles. This role involves managing the full lifecycle of investor requests—from gathering and verifying information with internal stakeholders to preparing and reviewing responses. Responsibilities include maintaining the investor request database, mentoring junior staff, overseeing offshore team output, and coordinating the distribution of investor communications. You will also play a key role in enhancing processes, driving automation initiatives, and providing operational support across all BPP investments to ensure efficiency, transparency, and exceptional service.

Job Description:

  • Address day to day investor questions/requests related to our Global Core+ Blackstone Platform.
  • Assist in onboarding new funds and investors.
  • Liaise with fund accounting, investor services, legal, tax and finance teams to source information for specific investors.
  • Assist in the aggregation, analytics, and preparation of quarterly investor and investor related materials.
  • Collaborate daily with team members and offshore teams to provide guidance and training.
  • Communicate effectively with teams to troubleshoot issues and resolve matters.
  • Assist with maintenance and postings of investor information on BXAccess portal.
  • Interface with members of the firm’s global real estate group and other groups to evaluate new investor requests.
  • Explore opportunities to improve, automate and streamline strategic processes.
  • Assist with investor-specific audit requests.
  • Liaise with external legal team to process LP transfer and name changes.
  • Support quarterly LP performance reporting process in coordination with valuations team.
  • Prepare BX corporate reporting deliverables.
  • Prepare internal client reporting deliverables for consumption of senior management, client relation team and portfolio management.
  • Prepare and review customized investor reporting templates for Core+ funds.
  • Participate in process documentation efforts related to client reporting initiatives.
  • Work closely with our Fund Finance team on variety of projects and deliverables relating to investor reporting.
  • Assist in preparation and issuance of client reporting deliverables (capital account statements, capital calls, distributions).
  • Calculate fund/client level key performance metrics (i.e. IRRs, TWRs).
  • Drive investor reporting automation projects and assist in enhancing the group’s reporting processes, procedures and analytics.
  • Build commitment reports, client base analysis, entry and redemption queue reports.
  • Support Blackstone corporate finance and investor relations teams during the quarterly earnings process as well as on an ad hoc basis in dealing with clients and investors.
  • Involvement with Blackstone SEC financial reporting – preparing and reviewing deliverables for quarterly filings.
  • Managing and mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics with strong GPA
  • 6+ years of related experience
  • CPA or graduate degree preferred
  • Experience with open-ended real estate fund finance, valuations and performance reporting a plus
  • Strong analytical skills, detail oriented, and highly organized.
  • Strong proficiency with financial modeling in Excel
  • Skill to adapt to new challenges in a dynamic environment while handling multiple projects
  • Possesses a strong work ethic, professional integrity, a positive attitude and genuine passion for excellence
  • Strong desire to work in an entrepreneurial environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal

Expected annual base salary range:

$130,000 - $200,000

Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.

Additional compensation and benefits offered in connection with the role consist of comprehensive health benefits, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, and FSA benefits; paid time off; life insurance; 401(k) plan; and discretionary bonuses. Certain employees may also be eligible for equity and other incentive compensation at Blackstone’s sole discretion.
