About GA Credit

General Atlantic Credit was formed after GA’s acquisition of Iron Park Capital Partners in April 2023. GA Credit’s Atlantic Park Fund (“AP”) seeks to provide creative capital solutions to high-quality companies in need of a strategic partner at multiple stages of corporate and economic lifecycles. Atlantic Park seeks to make highly structured investments in the form of senior debt, subordinated debt, preferred equity, common equity, or some combination thereof primarily in North America and Europe. Exercising a highly flexible mandate, AP has an industry focus across core GA sectors (Technology, Financial Services, Consumer, Healthcare, Life Sciences and Climate) with flexibility to invest in additional sectors.

GA Credit is comprised of an experienced team with deep credit expertise and broad equity investing experience. GA Credit approaches the market with a differentiated strategy focused on partnership and problem solving, which has continued to resonate with companies, sponsors, and management teams.  The team is highly flexible – focused on providing solutions-oriented capital across the full capital structure.  The team currently consists of ~20 investment professionals across the U.S. and Europe.

Position Description

General Atlantic Credit is seeking Class of 2027 MBA candidates for a 10-week Summer Vice President opportunity in our New York office.

Responsibilities

  • Performing detailed company analysis, including financial modeling
  • Conducting private-equity style due diligence
  • Demonstrating investment judgement
  • Preparing investment committee memos and subsequent discussions
  • Communicating with management teams, intermediaries, sponsors, and other investment firms

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an MBA program; part of the Class of 2027
  • Experience with credit, private equity, special situations, or distressed investing and/or leveraged finance investment banking strongly preferred
  • Strong analytical abilities, creativity, thoughtful business judgment and professional maturity
  • Record of outstanding professional and academic achievement
  • High energy level, strong communication skills, intellectual curiosity, and passion for investing
  • Desire to collaborate with colleagues throughout the firm globally
