CORPORATE FINANCE GROUP

The Corporate Finance Group is responsible for the operational, accounting, tax, and reporting aspects of each of the Asia entities. These entities invest across Private Equity and Credit businesses giving the team the unique opportunity to gain exposure across the firm. Members of the team also regularly collaborate with several internal departments, including fund accounting, tax, legal, compliance, HR, corporate, and IT, as well as third-party service providers such as the firm’s tax advisors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work as a team to provide day-to-day finance support to various Asian offices

  • Collaborate with the Asia team (both internal and external) on regional reporting, analytical review, liquidity management, AR and month end processes

  • Manage statutory audits & corporate tax filings

  • Support license filings across Asia

  • Handle Asia Finance vendor management

  • Interact with banks to support corporate activities

  • Review and revamp Finance processes with a change mindset to enhance operation efficiency

  • Assist with User Acceptance Testing for system upgrades or enhancement

  • Review staff reimbursements against company policies and procedures

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Degree holder, CPA qualification, and 3+ years of post-qualification experience

  • Corporate finance experience is a plus (non-FI candidates are also welcome)

  • Good client services attitude and be collaborative with colleagues across different teams and offices

  • Ability to manage and take ownership of multiple work streams and work products

  • Able to synthesize information and provide an opinion based on understanding

  • Can identify and anticipate issues with the ability to think through those issues independently, utilize resources at disposal, and drive solutions

  • Dedicated team player with a strong sense of ownership

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and handle a wide range of ad-hoc tasks under deadlines

  • Strong attention to detail
