KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform quarterly valuation analyses on companies and their securities across a wide range of industries using relevant qualitative and quantitative information gathered, through the application of internal valuation models for private credit and equity investments.

  • Monitor performance of underlying portfolio companies, including spreading of financials and analytics.

  • Communicate relevant trends and performance drivers to Senior Management, as well as reporting on portfolio company credit metrics.

  • Liaise with Deal Team, Finance/Operations Team, and external valuation consultants.

  • Synthesize data to support, challenge and reconcile conclusions, including back testing and stress testing.

  • Propose enhancements and updates to procedures, processes and methodologies in line with best practices.

  • Manage external valuation audit process from start to finish, including internal controls.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong understanding of financial statement cohesiveness between the balance sheet, income statement and statement of cash flows.

  • Familiarity with capital markets, corporate securities and capital structures, including financial modeling (i.e. fundamental analysis).

  • Strong financial statement analysis skills.

  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and work under tight deadlines with superior organizational skills.

  • Ability to decipher complex legal documents.

  • Experience with Geneva, 73 Strings, and/or CapIQ a plus, but not required.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills and superior analytical capabilities through the use of public data sources.

DESIRED BACKGROUND/EDUCATION

  • 2-4 years of direct accounting/finance experience with exposure to valuation techniques such as Discounted Cash Flows, and Market Comparables.

  • Background within a private credit, valuation consultant, or Big 4 accounting firm.

  • Preference for prior Credit/Direct Lending experience.

  • Progression towards CPA license or CFA charter a plus

Compensation:

Expected Annual Base Salary $95,000 – 110,000

Actual base salary will be determined by a wide range of factors including but not limited to role, function, level, experience, qualifications and geographic location. In addition to a competitive base salary, this position may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based upon factors such as individual impact, team and firm performance.
