Job Title: Real Estate Finance & Analytics, Associate

The Real Estate Finance & Analytics team at Blackstone is seeking an Associate to support the Global Blackstone Real Estate Opportunistic Platform (“BREP”). This role involves working in a dynamic and collaborative environment to manage valuation reporting, analyze fund performance, and deliver insights to internal and external stakeholders. The position offers exposure to a wide range of strategic initiatives and processes that are integral to the success of Blackstone’s global real estate business.

The Associate will work closely with key stakeholders, including portfolio management, asset management, investor relations, fund finance, and corporate finance teams, as well as senior leadership. This collaboration ensures alignment across functions and contributes to the effective management and reporting of one of the largest and most complex real estate platforms in the world.

Responsibilities:

  • Valuation Reporting: Collaborate with finance, asset management, and portfolio management teams across global offices to prepare quarterly valuation materials presented to senior leadership and committees. Partner with portfolio management to oversee the external review of valuations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and accuracy
  • Internal and External Reporting: Partner with asset management and portfolio management teams to produce high-quality published materials, including reports, presentations, and ad hoc analytical deliverables. Manage the creation and development of presentation materials to effectively communicate results within the Real Estate group and the broader Blackstone organization. Support the creation of quarterly and ad-hoc investor reporting materials, including fund updates, marketing presentations, and due diligence materials. Collaborate with corporate finance and FP&A teams on SEC quarterly filings and other senior management deliverables
  • Quantitative Real Estate and Fund-Level Analysis: Leverage advanced analytical skills to synthesize complex data sets into actionable insights that support informed decision-making. Perform detailed analyses of Real Estate portfolio performance, including asset-level trends, market dynamics, and operational metrics. Provide fund-level insights by analyzing cash flow forecasts, valuation impacts, and overall portfolio positioning to ensure alignment with strategic objectives. Oversee models to track and evaluate key performance indicators across both Real Estate investments and fund-level operations
  • Debt, FX, and Hedging Exposure Management: Manage and report the debt, foreign exchange, and hedging exposure of the business, ensuring accurate tracking, analysis, and alignment with portfolio objectives. Collaborate with relevant teams to monitor and optimize hedging strategies and mitigate financial risks
  • Global Process Management and Operations: Contribute to strategic business initiatives and automation projects to enhance and streamline reporting processes on a global scale, including collaboration with teams in London, Singapore, and India
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Build and maintain relationships with core constituencies, including deal professionals, Institutional Client Services, Asset Managers, Portfolio Management, Accounting, and Operations. Support cross-functional alignment to ensure the delivery of meaningful insights and high-quality materials to internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a similar discipline (CFA and/or CPA a plus)
  • 3+ years of experience in valuations, transaction services, private equity, fund administration, consulting, or other relevant analytical roles
  • Works effectively in a dynamic environment that requires execution of recurring deliverables as well as projects and initiatives in support of a rapidly growing business
  • Thorough understanding of Real Estate valuation methodologies, private close-ended drawdown funds, and/or FX, Debt Capital Markets, and Hedging Instruments a plus
  • Highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint is required

Expected annual base salary range:

$105,000 - $150,000

Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.

Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
