Blackstone Multi-Asset Investing (BXMA) manages $90 billion across a diversified set of businesses. We strive to generate attractive risk-adjusted returns for our clients across market cycles. The Operations team is responsible for daily operational support for the firm’s trading and investment activity including oversight of key service providers including administrators and technology providers
The BXMA Asia Operations team is seeking an analyst in the Hong Kong office to assume the following responsibilities:
Support daily operations including, but not limited to, trade capture, settlements, corporate actions, reconciliations, and exception resolution.
Manage allocations to counterparts for cash securities, convertible instruments, and other products to facilitate prompt settlements.
Communicate with sell-side brokers and trading counterparts regarding market updates and address trade-related issues.
Collaborate with internal teams globally to assist with trade matters pertaining to Asia and EMEA regions.
Coordinate with Prime Brokers, Custodians, and Fund Administrators to resolve trade discrepancies and respond to inquiries.
Prepare ad hoc risk and performance reports for Traders and Portfolio Managers.
Bachelor’s degree with at least one year of experience in trade support, middle office, or fund administration within investment banking or equivalent roles in financial institutions; prior experience with hedge funds or fund administrators is advantageous.
Proficient understanding and experience with equity, fixed income, or derivatives products and comprehensive knowledge of the trade life cycle.
Demonstrated ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
Experienced working with technology teams on system enhancements.
Highly proactive, self-motivated, capable of multitasking, and able to work independently.
Collaborative team player with strong work ethic.
Proficient in Excel; experience with Python, SQL, VBA is a plus.
