Job Description Summary

Blackstone Private Wealth was established to answer the growing demand for Blackstone products from high-net worth investors. Partnering with many of the world’s largest private banks and wealth management firms as well as family offices, Blackstone’s Private Wealth team packages and delivers the full breadth of Blackstone’s alternative product capability to these firms and their clients and provides ongoing product and advisor support, as well as education and training around alternatives.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as investor servicing close specialist for 1031 exchange program including through client relationship management and operational and trade support.
  • Drive the pre-close lifecycle tasks, including connecting responsible parties while multitasking across multiple deliverables prior to fund closes.

Identify and exercise best practices for operational processes to create excellent client experiences.

  • Ongoing Investor servicing of existing investors in 1031 exchange program.
  • Manage pipeline and capacity of current fund in market.
  • Onboard new intermediaries including distribution platforms, subscription document tech platforms, and others as needed.
  • Project management; spearhead communications to create successful collaboration across various business functions.
  • Take a hands-on approach to all aspects of project management, including data gathering, documentation, use case development, training and mentorship, planning and execution, and communications with business stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of financial industry experience.
  • Series 7 and Series 63 (or equivalent).
  • Proficient understanding in all aspects of a 1031 Exchange – including structure, tax, investment processes, etc.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications including Outlook and Excel.
  • Strong consultative and interpersonal skills.
  • Discusses complex issues effectively and in a straightforward manner.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow through to resolve issues.
  • Outstanding collaboration skills to work with product specialists, sales, and advisors to deliver advantageous tax solutions for high-net-worth clients.
  • Highly organized with a strong work ethic; works efficiently while managing competing priorities including long-term projects and ad hoc requests.

Expected annual base salary range:

$125,000 - $150,000

Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.

Additional compensation and benefits offered in connection with the role consist of comprehensive health benefits, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, and FSA benefits; paid time off; life insurance; 401(k) plan; and discretionary bonuses. Certain employees may also be eligible for equity and other incentive compensation at Blackstone’s sole discretion.
