Job Description

Blackstone is seeking an associate to join Blackstone’s Investment Strategy team in the Blackstone Private Wealth group. The Investment Strategy team develops thought leadership related to global macroeconomic and financial market trends in order to guide asset allocation and inform investment and strategic decisions. The team sits within Private Wealth, providing insights to both financial advisors, as well as institutional clients across the Firm. Investment Strategy leverages not only public market data, but proprietary data from our 250+ portfolio companies to help formulate macro and market views of the Firm.

The individual will support the Investment Strategy team’s research and content development for both internal and external audiences. The individual will also assist with ad-hoc research projects in response to specific requests from Private Wealth and across the Firm’s business units. As such, the individual will work with a variety of professionals across job functions, including investment and asset management teams, sales, investor and client services, and operational groups including legal, marketing, and others.

A successful candidate will be knowledgeable in macroeconomic and financial market concepts, with a proven history of quantitative research and analysis but also strong qualitative skills to describe market conditions and relay the team’s views to internal stakeholders.
