This position will be a hybrid work arrangement, which translates to 2-3 days minimum per week in the office.

HarbourVest is seeking a Senior Associate to join our new Transfer Agency Oversight team, delivering outstanding operational services to our clients and partners. This is an outstanding opportunity to help improve and scale our global operations

The ideal candidate is someone who has:

  • Basic understanding of fund administration and transfer agency processes
  • Eager to learn and motivated to grow in a fast-growing environment
  • Has a solid knowledge of private markets evergreen product knowledge is a plus
  • Excellent client service orientation

What you will do:

  • Assist in daily operational tasks related to TA processes
  • Support internal business teams to ensure the TA process aligns with global operating model standards
  • Join meetings with TAs, distributors, and other parties as needed
  • Act as a point of contact for the TA and various HarbourVest operation teams
  • Assist in calculating various distributor/intermediary fees and coordinating payments
  • Help maintain and update documentation of the operating model

What you bring:

  • Adept at working independently and as a part of a team
  • Prior experience withing with external providers (fund administrators, transfer agents, custodians, intermediaries)
  • Attention to detail, organized, and committed to excellence. Able to multi-task and problem solve
  • Excellent communication skills, in both written and verbal form

Education Preferred

  • Bachelor of Arts or Science (BS/BA) or equivalent experience

Experience

  • 2-4 years’ experience in financial services
