We are seeking an experienced AI Strategy and Innovation Lead to join our Finance team. This role is embedded within the Finance function, requiring strong domain expertise in Asset Management Finance and a focus on next-gen technologies and AI strategies. The ideal candidate will work closely with Apollo's Engineering team, which manages AI and next-gen tech implementation and the overarching technology strategy for the firm. As the functional subject expert, you will provide the business-specific lens to advance our AI/next-gen strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and lead the AI strategy within the Finance function, aligning it with business goals and objectives.

  • Innovation: Partner with the Engineering team to provide a finance perspective to evaluate emerging technologies and AI trends that can disrupt and enhance financial services.

  • Risk Management: Mitigate risks associated with AI and next-gen technologies, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

  • Collaboration: Partner with the Engineering team to integrate AI solutions into Finance processes and products.

  • Research and Analysis: Conduct in-depth research on AI applications in financial services, providing insights and recommendations and best practices within Finance teams.

  • Project Management: Oversee the implementation of AI-driven projects within Finance, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic goals.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate AI strategy and initiatives to finance stakeholders, fostering buy-in and support.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

  • Experience: Minimum of 8+ years of experience in financial services, with a strong focus on AI and the use of NextGen technologies to drive technology strategy.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in AI technologies, machine learning, and data analytics. Familiarity with financial services platforms and tools.

  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex scenarios and develop strategic solutions.

  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas to diverse audiences.

  • Leadership: Proven track record of leading strategic initiatives and managing cross-functional teams.

Pay Range

$200,000 - $275,000

The base salary range for this position is listed above. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on personal, team, and Firm performance. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, and geographic location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed here.
