As a Credit Controller intern on the Global Business Finance team, you will report directly to the fund Controller and Assistant Controller and will support the ongoing management of various Apollo credit hedge funds as well as a recent PE-style credit fund launch. This individual will be tasked with the quality execution of the day-to-day core accounting responsibilities, driving improvements in processes and reporting, and engaging in problem-solving. We are seeking a talented and dedicated professional with the ability to be part of a versatile team and a strong desire to learn and develop in their career.
Primary Responsibilities
At Apollo, we work as one team, partnering across regions and disciplines to share the perspectives and insights that lead us to exceptional opportunities. You’ll partner with junior and senior level professionals on a range of projects across the team.
You’ll also
Assist with month-end and quarter-end close process, including NAV package, fund-level waterfall, calculating performance metrics, and assisting with corporate reporting requirements
Assist maintaining the fund books-and-records and partner allocations
Prepare/review financial statements, facilitate the audit and provide information for tax preparation annually
Analyze and prepare expense allocations and budgets between multiple fund entities
Identify and analyze daily cash activity for various fund entities
Complete/Review internal fund reporting including liquidity and investment metrics
Address ad hoc requests as needed

Qualifications & Experience
Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree from a top undergraduate institution (Class of 2026), preferably in finance, accounting, or a related field.
CPA track is preferred
Public accounting experience preferred
Excellent communication skills including the ability to synthesize and see the big picture
Ability to juggle more than one project at a time and work in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and effective organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in teams.
Pay Range
$85,000-$100,000Apollo Global Management, Inc. (together with its subsidiaries and affiliates) is committed to championing opportunity.

The base salary range for this position is listed above. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on personal, team, and Firm performance. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, and geographic location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed here.
