Software Engineer

Position: Software Engineer (Full Stack/Front End/Back End)

Job Summary: As a Software Engineer for a growing tech start-up, you will be responsible for the following tasks in collaboration with a high-level team:

• Supporting product development and implementing in-house solutions

• Developing and managing functionally superior systems, databases, and applications

• Creating high-level APIs and conventional code

• Conducting software testing

• Troubleshooting, debugging, and upgrading software

• Understanding and applying best practices for security and data protection.

• Creating technical documentation

Required Qualifications: Experience with one or more of the following frameworks or languages (3+ years with one or 2+ years with two):

• Spring (Java or Kotlin)

• Vue.js, Nuxt.js, or Quasar

• Go

• C# .NET, ASP .NET

• Next.js, React

• Terraform

• AWS CDK

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure

• Experience working in a team

• Conversational/Business level English

• Experience in new product development projects (participation from the concept stage)

• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

Compensation: Annual salary: 5,000,000 to 12,000,000 JPY (includes fixed overtime pay for 45 hours/month)

Working Conditions:

Working Hours: Super flextime system (no core hours)

• Standard working hours: 8 hours per day

• Overtime: Yes (average 6.25 hours/month)

Location: Remote work / Office in Tokyo
Allowances: Commuting expenses (covered up to the office)
