This role will work closely with the AML CCO and other members of the Global AML team to support the maintenance and development of the Global AML program.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and document Customer Identification Requirements (CIP), Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) for new investors.

  • Performing asset due diligence reviews on transactions originating across US and EMEA. This will include providing key KYC and AML support for asset transactions, including screening counterparties, and assessing any high-risk triggers.

  • Conduct adverse media and sanctions screening for prospective investors and related parties (e.g., directors, signatories and beneficial owners) using third party vendor tools and public sources.

  • Review and draft AML certification letters and complete KYC and sanction questionnaires.

  • Daily review of high-risk alerts related to adverse media.

  • Conduct secondary reviews of 314a reports.

  • Assist in preparing monthly and annual metrics.

  • Work on ad-hoc projects as needed.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate must have:

  • Undergraduate degree

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience

  • General knowledge and experience in AML/KYC and adverse news screening

  • Investor on-boarding experience

  • Strong investigative/analytical skills

  • Strong organizational skills and detail oriented

  • Manages multiple and competing priorities

  • Excellent written and oral communication and research skills

  • Strong work ethic

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (pivot tables, charts, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)

Expected annual base salary range:

$138,000 - $200,000

Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.

Additional compensation and benefits offered in connection with the role consist of comprehensive health benefits, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, and FSA benefits; paid time off; life insurance; 401(k) plan; and discretionary bonuses. Certain employees may also be eligible for equity and other incentive compensation at Blackstone’s sole discretion.
