Role Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical LPO Investment Associate to join our investment team to focus on LP-led investment opportunities. You will participate in the Coller LPO Associate Program, approximately 2.5 years in length, where successful candidates will contribute to all aspects of Equity LP portfolio secondary transactions with responsibility for initial quantitative and qualitative analysis of Equity-focused funds and LP portfolios.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct fund analysis on Equity-focused funds and LP portfolios
  • Conduct in-depth financial modeling, valuation analysis, and due diligence on funds and underlying assets
  • Research and track fund managers, market trends, and investment themes across asset classes and sectors
  • Analyze large, complex datasets to evaluate portfolio performance and value
  • Prepare investment memos and presentations for internal committees and external stakeholders
  • Collaborate across internal teams including portfolio management, legal, and operations to support transaction execution and monitoring

Essential Experience & Skills

  • 2–3 years of relevant experience in:
    • Financial services (e.g., valuation, fund accounting advisory)
    • Investment banking, private equity, or principal investing
    • Fund-of-funds, pension fund, family office, or investment consulting
  • Experience in private equity fund investing or secondaries is highly desirable
  • Strong foundation in corporate finance, valuation, and financial modeling
  • Excellent writing, analytical, and presentation skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail with a demonstrated ability to manage complexity

Desirable Experience

  • Good knowledge of private equity fund accounting and the secondary market
  • Familiarity with private market data providers and platforms (e.g., Burgiss, Preqin, eFront)
