Position Overview
Apollo Insurance Solutions Group seeks an experienced and collaborative Client Solutions Associate Director to lead initiatives that support business enterprise functions, client/investment reporting, and client service. This role is ideal for a candidate who combines advanced investment operations knowledge, strong client orientation, and cross-functional leadership skills. The Associate Director will be responsible for overseeing reporting processes, mentoring junior team members, and driving improvements that enhance both the client experience and team efficiency. The ideal candidate brings a thoughtful, strategic mindset, has a track record of partnering with stakeholders across functions, and is motivated to contribute to organizational growth through operational excellence and effective leadership.
Specific responsibilities are likely to expand significantly over time and include the following.
Primary Responsibilities:
Client/Investment Reporting & Analysis
- Oversee the design, preparation, and timely delivery of accurate client/investment reporting packages for internal and external clients.
- Perform high-level reviews of variance analysis, reconciliations, and exception reporting while guiding junior team members on resolution methods.
- Lead the development and enhancement of customized reporting solutions to meet evolving client and business needs.
- Leverage historical insights and data trends to identify reporting risks or areas of opportunity and proactively recommend improvements.
Client Service & Relationship Management
- Act as a senior escalation point for the team and trusted contact for clients and Relationship Managers, ensuring reporting and service needs are addressed professionally and promptly.
- Collaborate with ISG Operations, Legal, Compliance, and Technology to resolve issues and deliver scalable service solutions.
- Provide strategic input on communication protocols, workflow enhancements, and client-facing initiatives.
- Ensure procedures/process flows are documented to meet regulatory and control standards and lead documentation improvement efforts across client deliverables.
Process Optimization & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner across the Client Solutions and ISG teams to identify areas for process improvements, implement automation or system enhancements, and reduce operational risk.
- Lead or participate in cross-departmental initiatives focused on strategic transformation and service delivery excellence.
- Represent the Client Solutions team in stakeholder discussions, internal steering committees, or technology working groups.
Leadership & Team Development
- Provide active coaching and mentorship to Analysts and Associates; support their growth in technical, business, and professional areas.
- Review junior team member work for quality, completeness, and consistency, guide on reporting standards and best practices.
- Promote a collaborative and feedback-driven team culture focused on continuous improvement and accountability.
- Model sound judgment, integrity, and effective communication in team and firmwide interactions.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, Engineering, or related discipline.
- 6+ years of experience in investment operations, insurance/asset management reporting, and/or client service roles.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex reporting requirements and communicate technical concepts to both internal and external audiences.
- Ability to manage people and competing team prioritization deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify root causes and drive resolution across systems and processes.
- Experience with fixed income, structured products, private transactions, derivatives, or insurance-based investment vehicles preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with reporting tools and investment data platforms a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a track record of building cross-functional relationships and influencing outcomes without direct authority.
Pay Range
$140,000 - $175,000

The base salary range for this position is listed above. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on personal, team, and Firm performance. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, and geographic location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed here.
